Introducing Pathway: the ultimate barefoot sandal for urban adventurers. With its anatomical fit, cushioned straps, and a flexible zero-drop sole, this lightweight sandal offers sporty aesthetics and maximum comfort. Thanks to the two adjustable hook and loop fasteners at the back and instep, Pathway can accommodate a variety of foot shapes, ensuring a personalized fit. Pathway is vegan and easy to clean.

Most people wear the same shoe size as for our other models. We recommend double-checking with our printable Size Guide PDF, if you would like to know beforehand where the straps will go over your feet.

This Pathway model is an improved version without the triangle buckle and with longer instep straps to also suit customers with a slightly higher foot volume. Read more about the improved version in our blog post.

Care Instructions

You can easily clean the sandal's straps and insole with water and a gentle shoe cleansing product. Wipe with a dry cloth afterward to absorb excess moisture. You can then use a shoe odor eliminator spray to neutralize potential odors.

Cool concept, but rotation kept me from using them

I have a foot that is slightly askew, and both of my feet have small tailor's bunions. Its barely noticeable, so unnoticeable most people dont believe me when i point it out. They say my feet look normal. Considering this, and the fact that i usually only have to size up to deal with the issue, i didnt i would have a problem using these sandals. However, im guessing because of the snakey design of the straps and the lack of guard on the soles, on my askew foot, the sandal sole did not align, regardless of what size i tried on, or how i tightened the straps. This has happened to me before with heels that use parallel horizontal straps or closed toe with a single ankle strap, and has been dealable in the past, but for some reason with the Pathway, walking was too awkward. I realize now i should have taken a photo, i am sorry about that.

Additionally, something about the design put a strange pressure gradient across my foot. Its hard to describe. It kinda felt like it was pulling on my big toe. Feels like the kind of thing that would stress my foot and affect my gait. Which violates one of my goals for a minimalistic sandal.

The pros: It matched the pictures perfectly. Looks very nice and felt VERY lightweight. The kind of sandal that would keep your feet very cool and dry during the summer. Im not jazzed about the velcro; id prefer pretty much anything else instead (buttons, ties, belts, etc) but its possible the velcro lasts as long if not longer than the life of the soles, and the velcro was strong out of the box. Minus the issues in the first paragraph, the feel of wearing the shoes was pretty great.

The return process for trying new sizes was easy and quick. (I only ended up trying bigger sizes to see if it would resolve my problem.)

Considering everything, i returned them. I will keep my eye out for other straps-over-the-foot flat-soled sandals. I respect this company and hope their shoes are working for other people.

However, our updated Pathway sandals from the latest production run now feature a longer instep strap and a redesigned sole shape. We've removed the unused space near the pinky toe and widened the mid-foot area for better strap placement. So far, we've received very positive feedback on these improvements.

Elles sont très bonnes mes sandales, mais sont chères!

Les sandales sont très confortables, elles ont bien adapté à mes pieds, le matériau est confortable.
Cependant, je pense que la valeur que j’ai payé pour eux est un peu excessive pour ce qui est le produit.

Great for walking

I do long distance urban walks (25-30 miles) weekly and I’ve been trying to find the right minimalist sandal to wear in the hot summer. These fit the bill: they are sturdy, the straps were relatively gentle on my feet, they can handle wet grass and a little rain. I put some athletic tape on the high friction points of my soles to prevent blisters - but I wouldn’t have needed that for any walk under 10ish miles.
