We have expanded our product range with two new Luxe barefoot shoe models:
Both new models feature the same materials and colors as our popular Original Luxe barefoot shoe, which we introduced back in August 2021. Therefore, all three models share the same name extension "Luxe". The Luxe models are the premium variants of our Original, Droptop, and Highrise models. Soft vegan leather and our super flexible sole provide maximum barefoot feel. With their velvety vegan microfiber lining and additionally stitched sole for extra durability, the Luxe shoes are your high-quality barefoot shoes with minimalist, timeless design.
Colors
All three Luxe models are available in the colors All Black, All White, and Black & White.
Edit: In 2022, we added the colors Gum Black and Gum White for all Luxe sneaker models.
Materials
The upper material is made of soft textile leather, which, like all materials we use for our Feelgrounds barefoot shoes, is 100% vegan. The lining is color-coordinated with the upper and is made of velvety microfiber. The laces (100% recycled PET) and our popular sole (only 5 mm thin) have already proven themselves in our Mesh & Knit models.
Size Guide
All Droptop, Original, and Highrise models have the same sole. Therefore, their sole measurements are identical. The Luxe models fit true to size. Most customers wear the same size as in their other Feelgrounds sneakers. If you're trying barefoot shoes for the first time or have a low arch, we highly recommend our additional insoles.
For those who haven't tried Feelgrounds before, we especially recommend our Original Luxe model, as it fits almost any foot volume thanks to its cut and laces for easy adjustment. Our Highrise model also fits well for both high and low arch feet (although with high arches, the laces need to be loosened wide for slipping on). Our Droptop model without laces, on the other hand, is perfect for feet with medium to high arches and is super easy to put on and take off. If you have a low arch and still want to try our Droptop model, we recommend an additional insole.

Water Resistance & Breathability
Characteristic of our Feelgrounds Luxe models is the soft vegan leather. This is naturally less breathable than the upper material of our Mesh or Knit models. However, the advantage of the Luxe upper material is that it has excellent water-repellent properties. Please note, however, that water-repellent does not mean waterproof.
Care Instructions for Vegan Leather
Clean your Luxe barefoot shoes by first removing loose dirt with a dry shoe brush. Then use a mild cleansing product with some water and a clean brush or sponge. Remove cleaning residue with a damp cloth. Let your shoes air dry at room temperature after cleaning. The Luxe models are not machine washable.
With proper care, vegan leather can last several years. It's always good to dry vegan leather shoes thoroughly after they get wet. However, never place them on or too close to a radiator, as the vegan leather can become brittle. When you're not wearing your shoes, store them in a well-ventilated, dry place without exposing them to direct sunlight. You can also regularly treat them with special vegan leather care products (e.g., with our vegan leather care) to keep the vegan leather elastic and color-fast.
