Update for production batch 2022: Seaside now features a slightly larger velcro attachment area on the heel strap. This is especially helpful for customers who wear Seaside with a very tightly pulled heel strap.
Feelgrounds Seaside Twill is the perfect minimalist unisex barefoot sandal for everyday wear. We focused on natural and breathable materials. The cotton used for the straps is soft yet durable, and the cork insole provides a very pleasant feel against the skin compared to a smooth plastic insole. Like all our other models, Seaside Twill is free from animal products, making it 100% vegan.

Our Seaside sole is made of durable rubber material with a flat tread, is flexible and of course has no heel. The sole thickness of just 7 mm allows you to feel the ground beneath your feet while still being thick enough for comfortable wear on asphalt and other hard surfaces.

The Seaside Twill is available in six colors:

Our sandal is a unisex model and like all current Feelgrounds models, is available in sizes EU 35 to EU 49. 
Fit
Generally speaking, a rolling space of 5 - 8 mm is sufficient for sandals. Therefore, the Seaside soles are slightly shorter than those of our other models to ensure a true-to-size fit. Excessive space in front of the toes can promote stumbling with sandals.
We generally recommend the same size for Seaside that you wear in your other Feelgrounds. You can find the exact measurements for sole length and width on the Seaside Twill product page under "Size Information".
Size selection for Seaside depends not only on the length and width of your foot, but also on your arch volume. The strap running across the midfoot is equipped with an elastic band on the inside to allow for a good fit for different foot shapes.
Seaside is perfect for feet with medium to low arch volume. For customers with a very high arch, we recommend choosing one size larger to guarantee a more comfortable fit. Seaside also has an adjustable heel strap with velcro, which allows you to adjust the position of your foot on the sole.
How can I clean the Seaside Twill?
You can clean the cotton straps of the sandals with a soft brush, some water and a gentle cleanser (e.g. our Cleansing Kit Eco & Cleansing Foam Eco) . To remove loose dirt from the sole, we recommend using a soft, dry brush. Afterwards, you can spray some disinfectant spray (e.g. our Shoe Odor Absorber Eco) to neutralize any odors.
Note: Cork is a natural material and can change color when it comes into contact with water. Therefore, discoloration over time, such as from sweat, is completely normal.
