They feature the same popular characteristics as our Patrol Winter for adults and offer additional kid-friendly features such as a finger loop and elastic laces for easy on and off.
With their flexible, thin sole without heel and foot-shaped toe box, the Patrol Winter Kids naturally also meet all the important criteria of a barefoot shoe. Thanks to the side-sewn tongue, waterproof membrane, sole with grippy tread, insulating lining and the additional felt insole, they are the perfect barefoot winter boots for kids.

To accommodate different foot volumes, we decided to keep the elastic laces of our Patrol Winter Kids relatively long. In case your child has a small to medium foot volume and the standard laces are too long, we include two end caps with each pair of Patrol Winter Kids boots you purchase. This way you can shorten the laces for a custom fit and hide the cut ends with the included end caps. Find out how to do this in the following steps.
Before you start, decide on the desired length. You do this best while your child is trying on the boots. Make sure you leave enough length so the laces can still be loosened enough for your child to easily put on and take off the boots.
- Cut the laces with scissors.
- Place the cut ends in the end cap as shown.
- Fold the smaller part of the cap over the cut ends and press until it clicks into place.
- Done! When the boots are on, secure the end caps under the lowest lace loops.
