Here, we've used MIRUM® for the tongue and heel applications – an innovative, completely natural faux leather alternative without any plastic. MIRUM® by NFW sets new standards in sustainability and aesthetics, giving Courtside Canvas a touch of luxury.
MIRUM® is made using responsibly sourced natural rubber, plant-based oils and waxes, fillers like cork or coconut shells, and natural minerals for coloring, all formed into thin sheets. Then the texture and finish are determined. MIRUM® is recyclable and fully circular. Compared to conventionally chrome-tanned cowhide leather, MIRUM® production generates up to ten times fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
