We have expanded our product range with two new Luxe barefoot shoe models:
Both new models feature the same materials and colors as our popular Original Luxe barefoot shoe, which we introduced back in August 2021. Therefore, all three models share the same "Luxe" name. The Luxe models are the premium versions of our Original, Droptop, and Highrise models. Soft synthetic leather and our super-flexible sole ensure maximum barefoot comfort. With their velvety vegan microfiber lining and stitched sole for extra durability, the Luxe models are your high-quality barefoot shoes with a minimalist, timeless design.
Colors
All three Luxe models are available in the colors All Black, All White and Black & White.
Edit: In 2022, we added the colors Gum Black and Gum White to all Luxe sneaker models.
materials
The upper is made of soft textile leather, which, like all the materials we use for our Feelgrounds barefoot shoes, is 100% vegan. The lining is color-coordinated with the upper and made of velvety microfiber. The laces (100% recycled PET) and our popular sole (only 5 mm thin) have already proven their worth in our Mesh & Knit models.
Size information
All Droptop, Original, and Highrise models have the same sole. Therefore, their sole dimensions are identical. The Luxe models are true to size. Most customers wear the same size as in their other Feelgrounds sneakers. If you're wearing barefoot shoes for the first time or have a low instep, we highly recommend our additional insoles .
For those who haven't yet tried Feelgrounds, we particularly recommend our Original Luxe model, as its design and adjustable laces make it suitable for almost any foot size. Our Highrise model also works well for both high and low insteps (although with a high instep, the laces will need to be loosened considerably for easier slip-on). Our laceless Droptop model, on the other hand, is perfect for medium to high insteps and is incredibly easy to put on and take off. If you have a low instep and would still like to try our Droptop model, we recommend using an additional insole.

Waterproof & breathable
A characteristic feature of our Feelgrounds Luxe models is the soft synthetic leather. This is naturally less breathable than the upper material of our mesh or knit models. However, the advantage of the Luxe upper is its excellent water-repellent properties. Please note, however, that water-repellent is not the same as waterproof.
Care instructions for synthetic leather
Clean your Luxe barefoot shoes by first removing loose dirt with a dry shoe brush. Then, use a milddetergent with a little water and a clean brush or sponge. Remove any cleaning residue with a damp cloth. After cleaning, allow your shoes to air dry at room temperature. Luxe models are not machine washable.
With proper care, synthetic leather can last for several years. It's always a good idea to dry synthetic leather shoes thoroughly after they get wet. However, never place them on or too close to a radiator, as this can cause the synthetic leather to become brittle. When you're not wearing your shoes, it's best to store them in a well-ventilated, dry place, away from direct sunlight. You can also treat them regularly with special synthetic leather care products (such as our synthetic leather care product ) to help the synthetic leather retain its elasticity and colorfastness.
