Another great model from Feelgrounds! I ordered the Chelsea in 42, my usual size for the Original Mesh, then realized with the material, 43 would work much better (and leave room for thicker socks if needed) so returned and reordered. Lost some duties in the process, but it was worth it. The foot shape is perfect for my medium to slightly wide and low volume feet with toes that can now splay some after 2 years of wearing barefoot shoes. The extra cushion over the Original Mesh is really appreciated, but the boots are still very flexible. I do kind of wish for a super durable leather pair that is resolable, but the vegan leather is really nice and looks very good, not too "plasticky", and goes with any outfit. The breathability seems fine in sub 55F (about 12.7C) fall weather. It doesn't really get below freezing where I live, so these shoes also seem plenty warm, and a little bit water resistant, too. Will maybe order a black pair next year. Definitely recommend this model (size up half to one size).

My favorite barefoot shoe brand! They were a little stiff on arrival but have broken in nicely over the last few days. I appreciate the thicker soles for winter temps. Love!!

My new favorite pair of shoes

I have waited some months to write this review, so I had a full experience using the shoes first. I have always had problems with my heels getting rubbed, ending in blisters. Or my little-toes not having much room, ending in pure pain. This is the first pair of shoes that i could walk in from day one.
If the ground is very cold(freezing winter) the shoes are too cold from the ground. In that case you should wear real isolated shoes. The kork-soles do warm a lot though.
I can only recommend these shoes. They are also very well made (quality and fashion wise). Im still new in the barefoot-game, but my feet are very happy in these shoes(no complications at all). I feel good about purchasing shoes that are vegan, ecofriendly and NOT fast fashion 🙏🏼

Care instructions

How do I clean my faux leather models?

To clean your faux leather model, first remove loose dirt with a dry, soft shoe brush. If necessary, use lukewarm water and a mild cleaning solution. Wipe off any excess product with a damp cloth. Ensure the shoes dry in a well-ventilated area at room temperature after cleaning or if they get wet. Avoid drying near or on a heater, as this can make the faux leather brittle. For prolonged storage, keep the shoes in a well-ventilated, sun-protected area. Our faux leather models are not machine washable.

To maintain, protect, and refresh the color of the faux leather, you can use a faux leather care. Alternatively, you can use a waterproofing spray. The waterproofing spray is not necessary for the Patrol Winter, as this model is already 100% waterproof. With our Chelsea models, however, the use of a waterproofing spray is particularly recommended for the elastic ankle piece. To complete the care routine, lightly spritz the inside of your shoes with an odor-neutralizing spray.
