The response to our new sneaker outsoles has been incredible, and we couldn’t be happier with your feedback! Many of you loved the upgrade so much that you’ve asked for the same improvements on our boots. We listened, and we’re excited to announce a major update to the soles of our Patrol Lite, Patrol Winter, and Chelsea boots.
Our boots will now come in the same enhanced rubber material as our improved sneakers' sole. More robust, lighter, and just as flexible, this new sole offers better durability while maintaining the comfort and barefoot feel you love from Feelgrounds.

The new rubber outsole features improved abrasion resistance, ensuring your boots can handle daily wear with greater resilience. Whether you're exploring nature or navigating the city, this outsole is designed to last longer while providing better grip and a stylish finish, with exciting new color options on the way! We’ve also reduced the stack height to 7 mm for a better ground feel and a true barefoot experience, while still allowing you to use the insole for added fit, comfort, and cold insulation. Lastly, we have refined the proportions and texture on the sides and profile to improve traction. Although the new sole may feel slightly stiffer at first, just like our improved sneakers, it will become just as flexible as the previous version after a few days of use. Best of all, prices remain unchanged!
In addition to the sole updates, our Patrol boots now feature a convenient finger loop for easy on-and-off.
Updated models
The following models will feature the new sole material:
Our Chelsea Kids and Patrol Winter Kids styles already feature the new rubber material for the sole, so no further updates have been made to those.
Sizing
The sole update has no impact on sizes, as the shape of the soles remains the same. This means Feelgrounds sizes stay unchanged, allowing you to choose the same size that fit you well with the previous models.
What happens to the old models?
The previous models are replaced by the models with the new sole and taken out of our product range. As long as supplies last, we offer the predecessor models at a 20% discount in our Sale category.
When will the models with the new sole be available?
They will be available in our shop October 8th 2024. If only certain sizes are sold out for a model with the new sole, you can enter your email address through the "Notify me" button to receive an email as soon as the shoe is available again in the desired size.
How do I recognize the models with the new sole in the shop?
The previous models have been moved to our Sale category and are marked with a 20% reduced price. The new models will gradually arrive at our warehouse and will then be available in our regular section "Adult barefoot boots". Additionally, they will feature the "Improved" badge in the product image, so you can be certain that you're looking at a new model.
